Steps Scottish tour date announced

The group will tour ten years after their split

CHART-TOPPING 90s pop group Steps have announced a new tour after a decade’s absence.

The band, which broke up 10 years ago, recently reunited for a reality TV show.

And today the five members announced The Ultimate Tour, due to take place in April next year.

Claire, ‘H’, Faye, Lisa and Lee will only have one Scottish date, when they play Glasgow’s SECC on April 6.

The group also plan to release a new album.

Steps first hit the charts in 1997 with 5,6,7,8. They went on to have 14 consecutive top five hits.

Their best-known hits include Tragedy, One For Sorrow and Heartbeat.

But the band split in 2001 during their Gold tour.

Tickets for The Ultimate Tour go on sale this Friday at 9am priced from £35.00, and are available from or by calling  0844 395 4000.
