Honeymooners seek return of wedding camcorder

A check of the hotel room failed to find the camcorder

A NEWLY-MARRIED couple are appealing for the return of their precious wedding video after leaving it in their honeymoon suite.

The happy couple tied the knot at Forbes of Kingennie in Angus on Saturday, October 8, and enjoyed a wedding reception at the venue with invited guests.

Later that night, the couple and some of their guests were bussed to the Carnoustie Golf Club Hotel, arriving at about 1am to retire for the evening.

The couple checked out at around 8am on Sunday,October 9 and unwittingly left their silver-coloured camcorder and charger, which were in a blue canvas camera bag.

Sadly, checks by the couple and hotel staff have failed to find the camera, leaving the them upset at losing not just the £500 camera, but more importantly, the record of their happy day.

Tayside Police would appeal to anyone who can help to trace the camera and have it returned to its rightful owners to contact 0300 111 2222, or speak to any officer.
