Pedestrian injured in crash with motorbike

A MAN has been left with serious leg injuries after being hit by a motorbike.

The incident happened at around 11.30pm on Sunday on Edinburgh’s Ferry Road.

A male pedestrian was hit by a yellow Ducati Monster motorbike near the junction with Connaught Place.

He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary suffering from injuries to his legs.

Lothian and Borders Police are now investigating the crash and are appealing for witnesses.

A police spokesman said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision or who has any information in relation to it.”
