Drugs seized by police

Police say the drugs are worth more than £1800

HEROIN, cannabis and diazepam have been seized in Peterhead.

Grampian police say the heroin alone is worth £1800.

A 26-year-old woman from Peterhead has been arrested in connection with the seizures and will appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today.

Detective Constable Michael Reynolds said: “This seizure demonstrates that Grampian Police will seek to disrupt, at every opportunity, those who inflict misery on our communities.

“We will continue to target any individual or group who are involved in the drug supply chain and demonstrate that we are committed make our communities safer.
