Police hunt for missing man

Iain Oven has been missing since Sunday

POLICE are looking for a man who has been missing from his West Lothian home since Sunday.

Iain Ovens, 35, was last seen leaving his friends house in Mooreland Gardens, Addiewell, West Lothian about 6.30pm yesterday (Sunday February 5).

Mr Ovens, from Polbeth, West Lothian, is described as white, 5 ft 8, medium build, short dark brown hair, with a full beard. He is thought to be wearing a black top, black jeans and white trainers.

Inspector Liz Macleod said: “We are concerned for Mr Ovens’s safety, as he has not been in contact with his family which is out of character for him. If anyone has seen Iain Ovens, or may know where he is, I would urge you to contact the Police. His family are very worried about him”.

Anyone with information should contact Lothian and Borders Police on 0131 311 3131, or the charity Crimestoppers in confidence and complete anonymity on 0800 555 111.
