Police seek witnesses in hunt for flasher

POLICE in Midlothian are appealing for witnesses after a man indecently exposed himself in Dalkeith yesterday.

The incident happened around 6.45pm in Eskbank Road.

The 31-year-old victim was walking towards the bus stop in Eskbank Road when she saw a man indecently exposing himself in a driveway.

She carried on and boarded a Number 3 Lothian buses vehicle, before contacting police.

The man is described as white, 20 to 30-year-old, with light coloured hair, and wearing a horizontal striped t-shirt, and dark jogging bottoms.

A police spokesman said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in Eskbank Road or the surrounding area around 6.45pm yesterday, who noticed anyone acting suspiciously, to contact police.

“Anyone else who recognises the description of the suspect, or who has any other information that can assist our inquiries, should also get in touch.”
