Teens injured in car crash fireball

A CAR caught on fire following a head-on collision near Perth.

A silver Peugeot 106 with five teenage occupants, two males and three females, and a grey Nissan Primera with a single 65 year old male collided at about 9.40pm on Thursday.

The cars were travelling in the A85

They had been travelling on the A 85 Perth to Crieff Road when they collided at Lochty, Perthshire.

Emergency services were quickly at the scene and the occupants of both vehicles were treated before being conveyed by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, where their condition is not considered serious.

 

It is believed that there were a number other road users in the area at the time. Officers are appealing to anyone who saw the collision or the vehicles prior to the collision to contact them on 0300 111 2222.
