Police appeal for video footage of fatal crash

A MAN has died after crashing his car into a boulder.

The 30-year-old died following the incident at Pathhead Sands, Kirkcaldy, around 4pm on Sunday.

The accident happened during a meeting of Polish BMW enthusiasts, and police are appealing for anyone who may have filmed the event to come forward.

Inspector Brenda Sinclair, deputy head of road policing, said: “I am appealing for information or any material filmed on a mobile phone or other device which would assist us in our enquiries.

“We understand that a number of people who were attending this event left the area prior to the arrival of emergency services, and we would urge them to contact us as they may have information which would help us.

“We also understand that a number of people were using mobile phones and other devices to record the event, and I would appeal to them to contact us and make the material available to us.”
