SIR Chris Hoy has been trolled on Twitter – by a sheep.
The six-time Olympic champion was on a bike ride through the Peak District when he got stuck in a four legged traffic jam.
Forced to wait for the sheep to move he took to twitter to post a selfie of himself and the flock.
The 39-year-old from Edinburgh wrote: “Traffic jam, Peak District style.. #mintsauce”
But his jibe about mint sauce did not go down well with one follower.
Angry sheep, who goes by the twitter handle @BaaAngry and boasts 31 followers to Sir Chris’s 671,000, called the star a “cheeky bastard”.
The sheep, who describes himself as “just an ordinary sheep who f****d off his anger management because I don’t need that s**t”, added: “Now was there any need for that hashtag!??”
Other twitter followers were quick respond with bad puns.
Glyn East ?tweeted: “Confusion in the peloton … ewe first, no ewe first …”
Torquil Forza Jules tweeted: “Some of those sheep look like they had performance enhancing drugs.”
While former England rugby union captain Will Carling wrote: “Lots of sheep’s bottoms and a smiling face in the corner of the pic. Could lead to all sorts of accusations…”
Sir Chris responded: “hahaha!”
“Just covering your back,” wrote Will Carling. “Possibly not the best phrase on reflection!”
