Two Scotland players will walk a suspension tightrope against Georgia

BY DARREN JOHNSTONE – CAPITAL CITY PRESS

James Morrison and Grant Hanley will walk a Euro qualifying suspension tightrope in tomorrow evening’s crucial match against Georgia.

The pair are each just one booking away from missing Monday’s all-important visit of world champions Germany and will bid to avoid coming to the attention of Romanian referee Ovidiu Hategan in Tbilisi on Friday.

West Brom midfielder midfielder Morrison and Blackburn Rovers defender Hanley have already each picked up two yellow cards during the Group D campaign.

The only player to have served a suspension so far is Charlie Mulgrew after he collected two bookings during the agonising 2-1 loss to the Germans last September.

Shaun Maloney, Steven Naismith, Gordon Greer and Andrew Robertson have all been cautioned once.
