Former Raith Rovers manager Grant Murray has returned to football by taking up a coaching role with Hibernian.
The 40-year-old, who made 94 appearances in six years at Hearts, has joined the staff at Easter Road to work with the club’s under-17 players.
He becomes the latest youth coach appointed by Academy Manager Eddie May, following the arrival of former Cowdenbeath assistant boss Lee Makel in June.
Murray, who also plied his trade with St Johnstone, Partick Thistle and Kilmarnock as a player, has been out of the dugout since leaving Raith Rovers in the close season following three years at Stark’s Park.
He guided the Fifers to their first piece of silverware since 1994 when Rovers defeated Rangers in the 2012 Ramsdens Cup final, but ultimately paid the price for underwhelming league performances.
