Hibs’ visit of Livingston on November 14 will be rearranged due to international call ups

Hibs’ visit of Livingston on November 14 will be rescheduled after the Leith outfit had three players called up by the Scotland Under-21s.

Striker Jason Cummings, who scored a stunning goal in Sunday’s 2-1 victory over Rangers, midfielder John McGinn and on loan Celtic playmaker Liam Henderson have all been included by Ricky Sbragia for the Euro qualifier against Ukraine a week on Friday.

Hibs could have up to four players away on international duty

 

The Easter Road outfit have activated a SPFL ruling that allows them to request a postponement of a match should three or more of their players be recruited for international duty.

Marksman Dominique Malonga could also be called away that weekend with Congo due to face Ethiopia in a World Cup qualifying double header.

Hibs had their scheduled September 5 trip to Falkirk rearranged after having Cummings, McGinn and Malonga called up by their respective countries.

Alan Stubbs’ side, who reduced Rangers’ lead at the Championship to five points on Sunday, beat the Bairns 1-0 a fortnight ago.
