Albion Rovers manager Darren Young has been named Ladbrokes League One manager of the month for October.
Following a heavy defeat to Dunfermline at the start of that month, Young’s side went on to beat Peterhead and Brechin City before drawing with Airdrie.
David Macdonald of Ladbrokes said: “What a remarkable journey Darren has taken the club on. With little expectation after winning promotion to the league he has managed to take the Cliftonhill side into forth position – the club’s nickname ‘The Wee Rovers’ certainly doesn’t reflect the character of the manager or players.”
