AN amazing video shows middle-aged members of a Protestant club stripped to the waist and cavorting during a wild party.
Some of the the revellers disrobe to their bras and others simulate sex to the background of a song by the Killers.
The clip was filmed at Saltcoats Protestant Boys’ Club two years ago but has only just emerged.
The footage has caused a sensation on social media with several viewers claiming to be traumatised by the footage.
The crowd sing “Are we human or are we Saltcoats?” instead of the line from the song Human “Are we human or are we dancer?” This is followed by chants of “SPB” – the initials of the club.
The footage is thought to have be filmed at Sullivans Bar in Saltcoats, North Ayrshire, at a bash believed to have celebrated the Loyalist marching flute band’s 10th anniversary.
The club hit back at the mockery on Twitter with the words: “What goes through the diseased mind of your average anti-Protestant that they feel the need to troll a vid of a night out from 2 years ago?
“The band takes this opportunity to thank the republican scum who have kindly given us free publicity. Are we human, or are we Saltcoats?!”
The hilarious video begins with one woman exposing her stomach while showing off her peach bra and rotating around while she dances.
The camera then spins round to a middle-aged woman with grey hair swinging her top round in circles above her head while dancing in a black bra.
Dozens of shirtless men can then be seen huddling together in the background as they jump around and chant the hit songs lyrics to “Are we human or are we Saltcoats.”
One tattooed man wearing only his trousers is shown then holding onto another woman’s hips as he simulates sex while singing along to the track.
Before the clip cuts out the scantily clad crowd simultaneously jump into the air while chanting “SPB”.
The club describes itself on its Facebook page as a “Loyalist marching flute band [promoting] Loyalism and Unionism.”
Almost 3,000 people on Twitter have retweeted the video since it emerged last week.
And hundreds of social media users have taken to the clip to make fun out of the energetic party-goers.
One Twitter user wrote: “Surely this is the first sign of impending apocalypse? Half demonic gremlins performing some anti-christ summoning ritual?
Another said: “That is horrific isn’t it? Some people really shouldn’t be allowed to breed.”
And another amused viewer wrote: “what have I just witnessed.traumatised to say the least
While one user joked: “That a trailer for tonights Planet Earth?”
While one user even tweeted the video to The Killers asking for their thoughts on it.
He said: “Wondered if you had any reaction to this ‘tribute’ by the sectarian ‘Saltcoats Protestant Boys’? Scotland is embarrassed.”
