Trampoline-loving pooch captured in hilarious video

VIDEO footage has captured the hilarious moment a dog peeks over a high wall – by jumping up and down on a trampoline.

The incredible clip shows the eager dog jumping up and down behind the wall with only his head hysterically popping up and down into sight.

The video was taken by a stunned dog walker as they took their own pooch, ‘Bubba’, for a walk in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, yesterday morning.

With its ears flapping and tongue appearing to hang out, the daft dog looks similar to the John Lewis advert in which ‘Buster the Boxer’ jumps on the family’s Christmas trampoline.

The pooch kept jumping up to show himself over the wall

The funny video was uploaded to Facebook by the a local dog day centre, Safe Paws, with the caption: “Bubba’s Mum was walking him in Westend park, Alloa and spotted this chap! Brilliant!”

The amazing clip has already been watched 4,500 times with a further 225 likes and countless more comments.

The 22-second-clip starts with a still view of a house and wall before the bouncing pooch leaps up and shows face for the first time.

The dog then continues to bounce up and down, appearing at a different spot each time with his ears hilariously flapping in the wind.

Laughter can be heard behind the camera as the dog continues to bounce before eventually seeming to stop 20 seconds into the recording.

Shirley MacMillan, owner of the dog day care centre who uploaded the footage, explained that she was sent the clip by one of her clients.

“She was walking her own dog when she spotted it. It’s so funny because it’s taken just a couple of doors down from where I used to live.

“It’s obviously on a trampoline because there’s no way they could jump like that.

“It’s ridiculously funny. It’s like he was wanting a treat or just wanting to say hi.

“It’s gone a little viral but I can see why because it is hilarious.”

Facebook users have been quick to comment on the amazing clip.

Colin Inkster wrote: “Trampoline Tommy.”

Lyndsey Lawson commented: “Looks like a kangaroo.”

Shirleigh Reekie asked: “Is it a dog or a kangaroo? Absolutely brilliant.”

Whilst Hayley Minson added: “Aww poor baby wants to get out and play.”

Last Christmas, John Lewis famously told the story of a young girl who gets a trampoline as her big present.

However, they soon discover that she isn’t the only one who enjoys a good jump around, as the family dog ‘Buster’ leaps out first to jump on the new trampoline on Christmas morning.

However, in the John Lewis advert, clever cgi graphics were used to make Buster leap unlike the jumper in Alloa.
