Shocking moment man is kung-fu kicked off step ladder

A SHOCKING video has captured the moment a man was kung-fu kicked off a stepladder – whilst trying to fix a smoke alarm.

In the clip, captured at a house party in Dundee, the man is flung off the ladder and on to his back on the floor.

At the start of the footage, the man, who dressed in a blue polo shirt and jeans, can be seen holding the smoke alarm in his hand, and talking to other revellers at the party.

Bottles of empty booze can be seen in the background, and the celebrations have reached the early hours of the morning.

Whilst he is perched on the top step of the ladder, another man, wearing red, launches a flying kick at him, with both legs off the ground.

He hits the top of the ladder, tipping it over, and sending the man straight down on to his back.

A SHOCKING video has captured the moment a man was kung-fu kicked off a stepladder – whilst trying to fix a smoke alarm.

Nyree Matthew, who filmed the footage, said there was almost no build-up, and the attack came completely out of the blue.

She uploaded it to Twitter on Sunday morning with the caption: “A house party in Dundee”, and it has since had over 10,000 likes and retweets.

Twitter users found the clip hilarious.

Megan Allan asked: “Why is everything always in Dundee?”

And @180Ferris added: “A fine British city.”

Coot McLuckie said: “Was that Eric Cantona?” in reference to the flamboyant French footballer’s infamous kung-fu kick on a fan in 1995.

Dylan Sargant quipped: “Won the ball just a yellow.”

Explaining the clip, Nyree Matthew said: “It happened in Dundee – the boy on the ladders was trying to fix the fire alarm and the boy who jump kicked him just did it. Nobody was expecting it.”
