Moment pals having quiet pint are drop-kicked to floor by prankster

A HILARIOUS video shows the moment a prankster drop-kicks two pals off their bar stools, causing one of them to pour a pint over his own face.

The youngster takes a run-up before leaping into the air and clattering feet-first into the stools.

Both victims do an incredible job of keeping their pints upright as they fall sideways but one empties the beer all over himself on impact.

The incident was filmed in an Edinburgh pub on Christmas Eve as friends gathered for a low-key celebration of the festivities to come.

A drinker, known only as Kevin, had different ideas though and is seen at the start of the clip standing several feet away getting read for his ambush.

After a couple of false starts, Kevin runs towards his friend who is quietly enjoying his pint while perched at a high table at the Telford Arms in the Craigleith area of the city.

The impact is so violent it causes another man to fall off his stool but he appears not to spill a drop.

The room bursts into laughter as the pair try and get themselves off the ground.

The video now has over 168,000 views on twitter after social media users went wild for the clip.

The clip was filmed by Joe Dudgeon, from Edinburgh. Asked why Kevin decided to drop kick his friends, Joe said: “I’m not sure, it was totally random that they both fell.”

He added that the first young lad to fall had no chance at saving his drink. He said: “He tried to save it but ended up spilling it on his face.”

Social media users shared the hilarious clip widely after it was posted to Twitter on Christmas eve.
