Top tips on where you wannabe for the ultimate Spice Girls style

WITH the tour of the century just about to touch down in Scotland, fashion expert Ian Tod hits the high street to shop for the perfect Spice Girls styles that even Posh would be proud of.

Shoppers are being urged to ’Say You’ll Be There’ at a local second hand Revolve store to spice up their wardrobe, with everything from leopard print tops and leather trousers to hot pink stilettos and platforms.

Whether you’re Scary, Sporty, Baby or Ginger, you can “stop right now” at your local second hand store, just look for the Revolve logo as a store’s guarantee of great quality finds at a great price.

And with the 90s fashion revival in full swing, you can easily transform yourself into your favourite Spice Girl with their original signature looks bang on trend, from leopard spots for Scary and big shoes for Baby, to fur and feathers for Geri and comfy casuals for Sporty.

Fashion expert Ian, who has worked with a range of famous faces including Lewis Capaldi, said: “The Spice Girls tour is a fantastic opportunity to have some fun with fashion and recreate the iconic looks, some of which were more memorable than others!

“I’ve taken inspiration from the current festival vibe, which is very 90s style. There’s plenty platform shoes and crop tops to be found in Revolve stores, and from there I added a little bit of spice to each outfit, including leopard print and leather for Scary and pink for Baby.

“You can find a range of quality hidden gems thanks to Revolve, and with many fashionistas shopping for more vintage looks there’s something for everyone, whether it’s for the Spice Girls reunion, upcoming festivals or just everyday wear!”

Recent figures from Zero Waste Scotland, the organisation behind the Revolve standard, revealed nearly half of Scots (45%) would be more likely to shop second hand if they can be assured of the quality, safety and cleanliness of goods.

Catherine Bozec, Consumer Campaigns Manager at Zero Waste Scotland comments, “With the Spice Girls tour hitting Scotland just next week, Revolve stores are a great place to organise a shopping trip with friends to perfect your 90s girl band look.

“There’s amazing treasures to be found when shopping second hand across Scotland, in particular quality assured Revolve stores which are full of incredible bargains that really will spice up your life.”
