DRAMATIC footage captures the moment a man clings onto a car bonnet for “dear life” in what appears to be a shocking road rage incident.
The video shows a man hanging onto a large 4×4 as the driver whizzes through Addiscombe, South London.
A man wearing an orange t-shirt can be seen being swung from side to side as he grips on to the front to the vehicle.
Mark Winter, from Croydon, South London, managed to capture the incident on two separate occasions within a minute of each other.
He posted the clip to Facebook on Thursday saying: “Caught this on my dash cam he was holding on for dear life, BMW was following behind.
The video shows Mark approaching a queued up junction when he spots the bizarre moment.
The man wearing an orange t-shirt can be seen sprawled across the bonnet of the large vehicle.
The car races around the bend into a 20mph zone leaving the man clutching for dear life.
A BMW then rushes behind the 4×4 in close pursuit.
Mark then drives slowly down the congested London street when the 4×4 appears once again with the man in the orange t-shirt still hanging on to the bonnet with his legs swept out towards the side of the car.
Mark commented on the post saying he reported it to the police.
He commented: “I’ve rang 101. They took all the details, and waiting for them to get back to me. Is the same then, does it give anymore details.”
Speaking today Mark thought the incident was initially a joke between friends.
He said: “At first when I saw him come out of the first Junction, I thought I they were joking around. But when I see it come out the second time I could see it was not. I Was very worried for him.
“You can see the land rover being chased by a silver BMW.
“I’ve reported it to the police and am waiting on a reply, if any.”
