Perth Racecourse announces its summer carnival is sold out

Perth Racecourse’s record-breaking season continues with the announcement today that its annual Summer Carnival fixture has completely sold out almost two weeks ahead of the meeting.

Summer Carnival’s final Centre Course tickets were sold over the weekend meaning another capacity crowd at Perth when the fixture takes place on Saturday, 17 August, featuring a mix of first-class jump racing and summer entertainment, including a live performance from Judge Jules LIVE.

It is the second time this season that one of Perth’s major meetings has sold out well in advance, with Ladies Day in May also attracting a full house after all tickets were purchased some weeks before the event.

Summer Carnival will see around 10,000 racegoers fill the stunning Scone venue for Perth’s second and final Saturday meeting of 2019.

Hazel Peplinski, Perth Racecourse Chief Executive, said: “Summer Carnival has become the hottest ticket in town and it’s terrific news that we’ve been able to reach capacity some two weeks before the meeting.

“The stage is set for another great Perth Saturday afternoon of racing and entertainment and we hope all racegoers are looking forward to a fun-filled day in a very chilled, summer atmosphere.

“For anyone who has missed out we still have our Autumn Raceday in early September then the two-day Glorious Finale later that month and following today’s news it seems wise to advise to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment.”

Following another competitive seven-race card at Summer Carnival, all eyes will turn to the stage and Judge Jules LIVE for his only Scottish appearance this summer.
