UK’s biggest halloween event set to return to Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens this October

The UK’s biggest Halloween event returns to Glasgow as itison announces GlasGLOW’s return to The Botanic Gardens this October.

Last year saw 75,000 people step into the light for a sold-out GlasGLOW and this year 100,000 people are expected to enjoy the UK’s largest Halloween event.

itison is increasing its investment to £750,000 to make the show even bigger, better and glowier to deliver a world class spectacular.

With an entirely new show set to run from the 25th October to the 3rd November, when the clocks change and the dark nights draw in, GlasGLOW will transform The Botanic Gardens into a series of immersive worlds.

itison has assembled a world class creative team behind some of the UK’s best sound and light events and are employing a team of over 50 to deliver the event.

With a reported economic impact of £2 million from last year’s event, local businesses are set for another busy October as footfall to the area increases.

Founder of GlasGLOW and CEO of itison, Oli Norman said:“Last year we were just warming up! This year’s looking epic and we can’t wait to share it with everyone. We’re also introducing a major community element to give back, so with every GLOW we can create a lasting positive impact; more will be revealed soon!”

Elements of the show are still under wraps, but itison will be revealing trailers over the coming days with hints of what you can expect. This year’s route is set to be longer at approx. ninety minutes and will introduce more immersive and interactive elements.
