Best things to see in Spain and Italy in 10 days

Short flights connecting the two countries make Spain and Italy the perfect combination of destinations.

It’s ideal if you’re looking for a trip combining a wide range of different experiences, attractions, activities, foods, cultures and histories.

If you’re willing to take a longer journey, you can also take the scenic route through France via train or coach, or even travel by boat.

With ten days for your trip, there’s plenty that you can cram in and see in Spain and Italy.

 #1 Spain – Barcelona:

A day in Barcelona is definitely worth it, with plenty of attractions to visit, things to do, and amazing foods to eat.

#2 Spain – Seville:

The superb city of Seville is located in the Andalusia region and is worth including when you start planning your trip to Spain.

There’s an exciting mix of Moorish and Spanish cultures, plus blended cultural traditions that make it a unique and unforgettable place to visit.

If you can it’s worth spending a couple of days here, with so much to see.

#3 Spain – Madrid:

No visit to Spain would be complete without a trip to the capital. Madrid may be often underrated, but is a cultural center and home to several amazing landmarks and buildings.

It also makes a great place to start your trip if you want to get a feel for Spain and its culture.

#4 Italy – Rome:

Rome is an ideal starting point when you arrive in Italy.

The capital city has transport connections to all over the country and is also home to some of Italy’s most famous attractions including the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon.

You can also book a day trip to the Vatican City to explore the stunning architecture, culture, and history.
