A virtual speed dating “bar” has been launched in a bid to help singletons stuck in lockdown meet other people.

The water?drop is an online, alcohol-free bar launched by waterdrop® who are helping people look for love during the pandemic and celebrating the launch of their new drink, LOVE.

?To mark the launch, the company will be hosting a virtual speed-dating event tomorrow from 7-9pm to be enjoyed from the comfort of home.

It will see the singletons go through a “blind date” phase, encouraging them to get to know their potential dates before deciding if they want to go to the next stage.

Round two will see if it really is love at first sight, as video screens are turned on to reveal your date’s appearance for the first time.

The event is totally free and participants will also be sent a complementary LOVE microdrink to try.

The new non-alcoholic beverage means speed-daters can keep their senses sharp, while enjoying the taste of sweet and sour goji berry, ?schizandra?extract and pomegranate.

Tickets can be obtained online from Eventbrite.
