Jack Mason’s incspaces Features Some of the UK’s Most Innovative Workspaces

Inc & Co — a business collective known for its suite of support services, including strategy
around operations, human resources, and marketing, as well as financial support, and high-concept digital services — has expanded its reach with incspaces. The sister company offers exceptional serviced office spaces in London, Leeds, and most recently, Manchester, providing companies with one-of-kind office environments.

The new division began in March 2020, under the leadership of Inc & Co founder and CEO Jack Mason. Mason is seeking out one-of-a-kind spaces in exciting and up-and-coming cities, from London and Leeds to Manchester, Birmingham, and Liverpool.

“This is such an exciting time for the property development scene,” said Mason. “By bringing these offices under the Inc & Co umbrella we can offer a strong proposition to our clients and teams.”

Current properties in the incspaces portfolio include the stately Becket House in London—a
refurbished office space with modern, glassed-in meeting and workspaces, fully stocked
kitchens and breakout areas, and a basement level space with showers and bike storage. There is also Mandeville Place in London, a charming red brick Victorian that has been rebuilt and redesigned inside. The interior space is sleek and modern, with clean open workspaces, plenty of natural light, and a rooftop terrace. In Leeds, incspaces offers Prospect House to businesses looking for unique space. The iconic corner brick building was a former mill erected by Charles Walker and Co in 1887. Now there are five floors of available refurbished space that boast all the modern amenities without sacrificing the building’s historic charm. There are currently six properties available in London, one in Leeds and the team have just launched in Manchester too.

Located in Manchester City Centre and only a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly Train
Station, the newly launched incspaces Princess Street provides a range of flex space, from co-working to break-out rooms, private offices and meeting rooms, as well as a café on site. With contemporary interiors, it gives a space for entrepreneurs and SMEs to grow their business in a lively city centre environment close to all transport links.

Jack Mason, Group CEO at Inc & Co Property Group, says, “We have deep roots in Manchester and are pleased that this is our first serviced office in the city. Previously owned by Accelerate Places, the new offices will be rebranded under incspaces and fully refurbished.”

“Businesses need the flexibility that incspaces will offer to be able to grow. Everyone that takes advantage of our offer will be able to access an available business health check from Inc & Co.

“This will include support with financial strategy, business plan development, and their
marketing strategy, dependent on their needs”

Adding a property division was a natural fit for the expanding Inc & Co—a complement to their existing work supporting digital startups. The main business collective, Inc & Co, has grown to include a number of digital agencies such as the e-commerce apparel company Brass; venture fund Neon; Cuhu, a mobile app development company; on-demand laundry service Laundrapp; and Skylab, a sports innovation agency that works with high-profile clients like FIFA, Manchester United, and Swim England. Ventures that want workspaces as innovative as their businesses.

“We’re going to continue to focus on customer service delivery and offer the highest standard to everyone using the offices,” Mason said. “These are high-quality offices in great locations, and it provides the perfect offices for all sizes of company.”

Inc & Co already provides these companies with a suite of expertise that allows them to grow and flourish — taking on many of the businesses’ operational needs such as marketing, HR, finance, and recruitment, and allowing them to focus instead on delivering services and growing their client base.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, having the support of a central company like Inc & Co has been invaluable to businesses, including Prospect Business Centres, which offers not only unique in-person office environments but also virtual offices, providing a business address, dedicated phone number with call handling, and post redirection for companies operating remotely. That virtual support is critical as many businesses look to remain remote for the foreseeable future due to the pandemic.

Incspaces are leveraging their expertise to develop the next generation of office spaces for
when the business world is ready to return to office settings.

“It’s an exciting time for the Inc & Co brand,” said Mason. “We’ve entered a very trying time for businesses with the COVID-19 pandemic and we’re wanting to support as many businesses as possible to survive and thrive. We would always encourage people to get in touch to see what we can do to help.”

Inc & Co’s Group CEO Jack Mason built his career as a digital disruptor, providing leadership to other professionals on how best to achieve their goals and evolve their businesses to stay ahead. He used his extensive experience in marketing, HR, and finance, to inform how he built Inc & Co, hiring specialists for each business skillset, and surrounding himself with thought leaders. The company now has offices in London, Leeds, Manchester, and Bath.

Despite the pandemic, Inc & Co has managed to thrive, a testament to its strong leadership in Mason and Inc & Co technical director Dave Antrobus. The company, which launched in just 2019, now has 170 staff with plans to hire 20 more, and has generated a £10 million turnover and an 11% increase in month-on-month income, all in the midst of a global pandemic.

“With Inc & Co, we wanted to redefine the landscape of creative agencies by bringing together a group of companies with different strengths,” Antrobus has said. “This enabled us to offer an award-winning experience to clients across the board. We’re still growing as a company and continuously looking to engage with new agencies, too.”

Inc & Co supports startups where they need help most, whether that’s in the form of capital injections or business support. All startups under the Inc & Co umbrella maintain their branding and identity, but also gain the competitive advantage of Inc & Co’s expertise. Now, incspaces takes that success story one step further, completing Inc & Co’s suite of offerings to innovative companies looking to make an impression.
