Ricky Clark joined the firm in 2013 to focus on driving expansion of the corporate services portfolio of clients.

Susan Pringle, managing director of Henderson Loggie Financial planning, said: “Ricky and Jonathan are already well respected in our business, and in the industry here in Scotland.

“They have a deep understanding of the market we operate in and their appointment to the board is a reflection of our long term plans.

“Both have excelled at maintaining high levels of personal service for our clients and will now be instrumental in helping all staff reach their full potential. I look forward to working together to continue to drive up standards as leaders of our expansion programme, rolling out our service for owner managed businesses across a wider geographic footprint.”

Jonathan McDowall said: “It’s a privilege to be in a position to shape the future of the firm, and I’m delighted to be able to continue my career to this level with Henderson Loggie Financial Planning. We have a great team in place, an enviable client base, and lots of opportunities to grow the business without losing sight of our values and our personal approach.”

Ricky Clark said: “We have worked hard to become go-to trusted advisers for owner managed businesses in Scotland, alongside providing financial planning services for individuals saving for retirement or concerned about inheritance tax planning. We achieve this by focusing on our people, our client experience, continuous learning and robust processes and I’m excited to play a role in ensuring we stay ahead of the curve on these fronts as we grow and expand.”
