PREVIEW – Olaf Falafel – STOAT

Deadline Fringe Previews

A THREE-time holder of Dave’s “Best Joke of The Fringe” (thanks to a certain pandemic) returns to Edinburgh Fringe with more potentially award-winning jokes.

Olaf Falafel’s new show STOAT promises to contain plenty of audience participation that has been loved in the past.

The List describes his shows as “a magical ride into the ridiculous”.

When he is not trying to make people laugh on stage, Olaf illustrates kids’ books and gives drawing tips in his Art Club on Youtube. In 2019, Olaf visited 100 schools in 100 days.

The stand-up chameleon also has a comedy show Olaf Falafel and the Cheese of Truth.

This year at Fringe, as well as STOAT, Olaf will also be bringing a kids’ show, Olaf Falafel’s Super Stupid Show.

Evening Standard calls Olaf’s shows an “absurdity so well-crafted that silly doesn’t do it justice”.

Two things can be guaranteed – Falafel’s show will be stupid and it will be funny.

STOAT promises an hour of comedy from 4 August at The Laughing Horse @ The Pear Tree.
