    The Port of Leith, welcomes the arrival of 28,600 tonnes of salt, the equivalent of 1100 truck loads. which will be distributed to road depots throughout Scotland in preparation for the cold snap of winter weather.

    Of the 28,600 tonnes delivered to Leith, 12,500 tonnes will continue its journet by sea using three smallwer coastal boats, directly to the Port of Aberdeen.
