DRUGS worth £14,500 have been seized in Aberdeen.

Police swooped on the property in Northsea Court on Sunday.

Inside they found cocaine, cannabis and heroin.

The seizure brings the totals amount of illegal drugs removed from the streets ofAberdeensince the launch of Operation Maple to £350,000.

PC Louise Taylor said: “This was an intelligence led operation that saw officers seize a substantial quantity of drugs including cannabis, diamorphine and cocaine.

“This is a further demonstration of our commitment to bringing those involved in this vile trade to justice.”

A 22-year-old man from the Wolverhampton area was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
