Police in Fort William are carrying out enquiries after the remains of a man were found by a member of the public.
The body was discovered in the An Aird area of the town, on rough ground adjacent to Fort William Fire Station.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding however they are keen to speak to anyone who has information about a male aged in his late 50s.
The man had been sleeping rough in the area recently.
