SCOTLAND’S favourite baby chimpanzee has been snapped enjoying a healthy lunch with his mum.
One-year-old Velu, who lives at Edinburgh Zoo, was pictured munching on carrots on Tuesday morning.
He can be seen reaching for the healthy snack as his mother Heleen cradles him in her arms.
Velu celebrated his first birthday last month, and is the first chimpanzee to be successfully reared in Scotland in 15 years.
