CONSTRUCTION and property consultancy Thomas & Adamson is set to add new hires to its London office as part of expansion plans in the capital.

The group has already appointed Gary Wait as a director to take control of its project management interests in London.

Mr Wait has more than 20 years’ experience and recently ran his own project and development management consultancy for residential developments in London.

Mr Wait said: “Thomas & Adamson is a dynamic company, well established in the north of the UK and the Middle East, and comes with a strong reputation.

“This role is a great opportunity to join the firm and grow its London offering, whilst continuing to work as a project manager and introducing new clients to the business.

“I’m very much looking forward to working with the team.”

Mr Wait has worked on property projects in London, including the redevelopment of the area around Kings Cross Station and has held roles at CPC Project Services, Gardiner, Theobold and Wainbridge

Alastair Wallace, senior partner at Thomas & Adamson, said: “Our London office has been going strong for more than two decades, but this year we want to take it to the next level.

“Gary’s appointment is a key first step in that direction, growing our offering with another high-quality individual.

“He specialises in project management and has experience of working in a range of design and construction disciplines, complementing our existing team’s strengths.

“Gary is a great addition to our London office and his network and expertise will help us deliver on our plans.”

Thomas & Adamson opened its London office in 2001 and plans to make further hires in the city this year.
