Hibs striker Jamie Insall admits he experienced a rollercoaster full debut for East Fife after being sent off just one minute after scoring in an action-packed 5-3 win over East Stirling.

Insall, who recently joined the League Two side on loan until January, brought Gary Naysmith’s side level at 2-2 on Saturday with an effort from outside the box before being shown a straight red card for a foul on Reece Donaldson seconds later.

But the 22-year-old was relieved to see the Fifers secure all three points despite being down to ten men.

Insall, who signed for Hibs in September following a spell in English non-league football with Bromyard Town and Stourbridge, said on Twitter: “Always ups and downs in football. Just glad of the 3 points.”
