FRESH from working with BBC Writers Room Archie Maddocks presents his latest show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018.

Matchstick promises an hour of the writer revealing his flaws, life contemplations and details of how Grenfell Tower has a close connection.

At his third time at the capital’s proclaimed festival – Archie Maddocks has earned a reputation for his candid storytelling skills on stage.

Ed Fest Mag described Maddocks as: “…a natural with an audience, boldly exploring controversial topics such as race and religion.

“Just as you’ve tensed up, he manages to bring that energy back down with amazing skill – leaving everyone in stitches by the end of the show.”

As well as stand-up performances, Archie Maddocks is known for his playwright work.

His most recent play A Place for We shortlisted for the Bruntwood Prize and the Alfred Fagon Award.
