As a news agency supplying the national and international media, we rely on the bond of trust that is created between journalist and contact, constantly checking facts and articulating stories for those without the means to do so themselves.

In a multi-media age, we apply those same defining standards to our work with video and online as we do to traditional print, which is why we are proud to follow the Code of Practice laid down by The Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO).

We welcome story enquiries, tip-offs and bona fide PR commissions through our offices.

He has a degree in Politics and Modern History and an NVQ in Newspaper Journalism.
He joined Deadline News in September 2014.
He was happy to leave a slightly warmer and more sectarian land and is settling in to the city of Edinburgh where no one has yet asked how he pronounces “H” or what school he went to.
He is a little aggravated by the amount of people who call him Irish, but he wouldn’t smash your windies over it.

Tony is from Glasgow where he gained experience working at The Evening Times newspaper. He has a masters degree in journalism from Strathclyde University and an undergraduate degree in psychology.

As a young child Tony was once headbutted by a goat as it attempted to procure his piece and jam. This had no effect on his love for animals however, especially dogs which have always been his favourite of all the animals in the animal kingdom.
