PREVIEW – Lew Fitz – Soft Lad

Deadline Fringe Previews

LEW Fitz’s highly anticipated comedy show, Soft Lad, debuts this year at the Edinburgh Fringe.

You can find Soft Lad at Gilded Balloon Teviot, Turret at 7pm from the 3rd to the 29th of August, excluding the 15th.

Soft Lad is a bold and disarmingly honest hour-long solo show in which Fitz explores breaking down, running away from home, trading Manchester for Miami, and what happens when you have to come back.

Explosive comedic energy and a rare vulnerability should be expected from this rising star as he attempts to reconcile his past and face his present.

In Soft Lad, Mancunian Fitz blends originality and intrigue with his Northern charm, promising to excite audiences up and down the country.

The newcomer holds an impressive career with various accolades to his name.

He is the winner of the prestigious Amused Moose National New Comic and is a BBC New Comedy Award-nominee as well as being the youngest finalist in Florida’s Funniest Comedian history.

Fitz was also a finalist in the Bath New Comedian of the Year Award, 2018, and was in the semi-finals of So You Think You’re Funny? 2016.

Impressively, Fitz has also scored in the “Top 5 Jokes of the Fringe” across The Guardian, Dave TV, and The Telegraph.

With sell-out previews, audiences should catch this rising star whilst they can.
