The Scottish Premier League is Underway

15h00 Sunday Fixture – 27 August 2023 

St Mirren vs Aberdeen – The SMISA Stadium 

Teams St. Mirren and Aberdeen have been long-time competitors in the SPFL with a total of 55 games played between the two since 2006 and resulting in 18 draws throughout the various seasons. Mirren has won 11 matches compared to Aberdeen’s 26 who are hoping to further that gap on the 27th

Celtic are the ones to beat 

It is no secret that Celtic have made a name for themselves having won their impressive 11th premiership league title in 12 years last season, and with hard work ahead are on the road to claiming their next Cinch sponsored trophy for the 23/24 season. 

They started off the season with a bang claiming a win over Ross County on August 5th, a game which saw goals nonstop from kick-off and plenty of yellow cards to go around as the atmosphere got heated. Halftime came at 3-0 to Celtic and no doubt manager Brendan Rogers gave a speech that motivated and encouraged the team to new heights as they came back to score another late in-the-game goal by the young 22-year-old player Matt O ‘Riley cinching the win by 4-2 at the final whistle.
