Vandals attack city playpark

VANDALS have caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage at a children’s play park.

Almost £1000 of fencing at the facility in Dundee’s Camperdown park was damaged.

Police say the attack took place between 3.30pm and 8.00pm on Tuesday.

They are keen to trace a group of youths who were seen acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident.

Police are also appealing for dog walkers who may have witnessed the incident to contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222.
