Moment man almost spears himself climbing an unlocked gate

A HILARIOUS video shows a man almost spear himself climbing a double-spiked 6ft gate – which is already unlocked.

Noel John Behan recorded the video as a man tried to scale the gate at Yoker Community Campus, Glasgow, even though he could have just opened it and walked out.

Unfortunately for the man in question, he slips down and catches his jacket in the spikes at the top of the gate and a trainer in the spikes below.

The unlucky climber could have just walked through the gate

Noel then comes over and shows how easy it would have been to open the gate.
He uploaded the 31-second-clip to Facebook last Saturday with the caption: “That kinda made my day the day.”

It’s since been viewed 58,000 times with over 300 likes and shares from amused users.

The recording starts as a man dressed in a blue jacket and tracksuit bottoms climbs to the top of the six foot fence which has spiked points on the top.

From behind the camera, Noel shouts: “Hey mate, the gate’s open.”

As the man eventually reaches the top, he slides down suddenly, but catches his jacket in the spikes which pierce through the lining, leaving him hooked to the gate.

Noel chuckles as the man struggles to free himself, lifting his jacket up over his head to reveal his bare torso.

Noel again shouts: “Gate’s open mate,” as he walks over to help as the man eventually frees himself.

The clip ends as Noel says to the man: “It’s just on the hook,” and opens the gate before the man walks off and Noel says: “I’m glad I came in the day.”

Facebook users have been quick to react to the clip.

Dougie Wemyss commented: “That’s too funny Noel.”

Jo Shields wrote: “You are bad Noel, you and your camera, lol some guy so you are.”

Whilst John O’Neill added: “F*****g brill mate.”
