Air hostess left in stitches after plane full of Manchester United fans dedicate series of chants to her

AN AIR HOSTESS was left in stitches after a plane full of Manchester United fans decided to dedicate a series of bizarre chants to her – for the entire flight.

Chloe Harrison was working on a RyanAir flight from Manchester to Barcelona last Wednesday when she was informed that the plane would be packed with excitable footy fans.

A throng of Manchester United supporters were travelling to Barcelona for the team’s crucial first leg UEFA Europa League tie against Barca, where they would earn a 2-2 draw.

However, Chloe, 25, had never expected to spend the entire flight listening to the dozens of rowdy fans chanting to her after they figured out her name.

A video begins with a photo of Chloe dressed in her air hostess uniform with the onscreen caption: “POV- You’re cabin crew on a MCR>BCN flight the night before Barcelona Vs Man United and the fans learn your name.”

The video then transitions to Manchester local Chloe facing a wild group of Red Devils fans clapping and chanting “Oh Chloe we love you.”

Another fan can then be heard crudely shouting: “Get your t**s out”, which appears to be met with boos from others.

Another chant is sung: “She serves to the left, she serves to the right, that girl Chloe makes Barca look s***e.”

The video then shows the plane in complete darkness as the fans continue to repeatedly chant: “Lights out if you love Chloe, lights out.”

They then continue: “Chloe where are you? Chloe, Chloe give us a wave.”

The men can then be heard building up the suspense before cheering in response to her waving.

They then repeatedly sing: “Shoes off if you love Chloe, shoes off.”

Chloe uploaded the video to TikTok on Tuesday with the caption: “Manchester to Barcelona RyanAir flight full of United fans = fun fun fun. The last chant was my favorite.”

The clip has since been liked by over 225,000 people and has received dozens of comments from bemused users.

Chloe herself wrote in the comments to the doubtless despair of United fans: “It’s even funnier because I’m a [Manchester] City fan, sorry boys.”

One TikTok user wrote: “Girl I’d have hidden with the pilots all the way there and refused to go out!”

Another commented: “I was on that flight, it was so weird but funny at the same time.”

A third wrote: “Chloe needs a pay rise and danger money.”

Another replied: “Apologies Chloe, great service though.”

A fifth wrote: “You had a special mention on Talk Of The Devils podcast if you didn’t know.”

Speaking today Chloe said: “I’m not really sure how it started to be honest. When I got on the plane my supervisor that day told me we had a few football fans so it might get a bit loud.

“They were doing normal football chants at the start of the flight but nothing too loud. It was just the odd one at the back singing United songs every now and then.

“Then as I started the service for drinks and snacks they kept asking my name and for my Instagram, I told them I don’t have Instagram and I didn’t give them my name.

“Then about halfway through the flight I walked down the plane with a rubbish bag and noticed them all looking at me singing but couldn’t quite make out what they were saying.

“A lady who was sitting in the middle on her own asked me how I felt about them chanting about me.

“The woman then joined in with them singing ‘we love you Chloe’ then for the rest of the flight they just continued making up different songs about me.

“I was quite embarrassed at first – I must have gone bright red because I felt like they were putting all the attention of all 188 passengers on me, I kept hiding at the back of the plane!

“But in my opinion it was hilarious, they were having fun, they brought no harm to anybody, and it made my shift a lot more entertaining.

“The other cabin crew didn’t find it so funny though, they were quite annoyed.”
