ALLOA Athletic are set to unveil their successor to manager Jack Ross on Tuesday.
Ross began work as St Mirren’s new boss yesterday (Monday) after taking the Wasps for one last time in Saturday’s victory over Bala Town in the IRN-BRU Cup.
Former Celtic and Dundee Untied defender Mark Wilson has been linked with the Alloa job but is not understood to be the person in the frame.
Mulraney wasted no time in starting the process of speaking to individuals that he and his directors identified and has followed the same single-minded approach as in previous appointments.
He said: “I’m not intent on speaking to lots of candidates when I’m looking for a new manager.
“The way we work is we establish our preferred candidates and I speak to one or two.
“If one of those fits the bill then they’ll get the job and if not we think again.”
He added last night (Monday) on Twitter: “Looks like an announcement tomorrow 2.30 at the Indodrill.”
