CAMPAIGNERS against the proposed ban on under-21s buying alcohol at off-licences have staged a protest outside the Scottish Parliament.

The groups are calling on the Scottish Government to drop plans to raise they minimum ages for buying booze in off-sales from 18 to 21.

The demonstration by the Coalition Against Raising the Drinking Age in Scotland, also submitted a petition to the parliament.
