“My World” – Corrie’s girlfriend posts haunting new selfie of couple in bed

THE PREGNANT girlfriend of missing RAF airman Corrie McKeague has shared a haunting, intimate selfie of the couple together in bed – captioned “My World”.

April Oliver changed her Facebook profile image last weekend showing the pair pouting at each other while appearing to be topless in bed.

She also changed her cover photo of what is believed to be her cradling a dog which has its paw placed on her belly.

The 21-year-old personal trainer found out she was expecting just two weeks after the the 23-year-old went missing in September last year.

The couple met on a dating site around five months before the RAF gunner went missing six months ago.

Since announcing her pregnancy, April has kept relatively quiet but last night she shared the heartbreaking photograph captioned “My World” – alongside a red love heart.

Specialist search times are currently searching the landfill in Milton, Cambridge where Corrie’s body is thought to be found – following a bin lorry blunder which was linked to the case.

It is now feared that Corrie, from Dunfermline, Fife, may have somehow ended up in the bin night after a night out in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk before being transported to a waste tip.

Soon after he was reported missing, incorrect rubbish truck measurements recorded the vehicle as 24lbs – ruling out that Corrie could not have been in there.

The lead also coincides with the fact that Corrie’s mobile phone was last tracked taking the same route.

But last month it was revealed the lorry actually weighed 180lbs – a difference of around 14 stone – sparking the dump search.

Around eight officers have been carefully searching through 60 tonnes of rubbish each day since the search began four weeks ago.

Last month a 26-year-old man who worked for Biffa was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice but was later released and faces no further action.
