HEARTS ace Arnaud Djoum is receiving superstar treatment as Cameroon train at the home of Real Madrid.
The 30-year-old has been named in the Indomitable Lions’ squad for this summer’s Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and boss Clarence Seedorf has called in a favour to ensure peerless preparation for his players.
The Dutch legend, who won La Liga and the Champions League during his three-year stint at the Bernabeu, has teed up the use of ‘Real Madrid City’ in Valdebebas, on the outskirts of the Spanish capital.
That is the day-to-day facility used by the likes of Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema.
Cameroon are in the midst of a six-day training camp which ends on June 10, with the tournament due to commence on June 21.
Seedorf’s side are in Group F alongside Ghana, Benin and Guinea-Bissau.
Djoum, who is assured legendary status in his homeland after helping Cameroon win the trophy in 2017, is out of contract at Hearts at the end of this month and is currently weighing up his future. The Jambos have tabled a new deal for the player.
