All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre and Room 2 Manoeuvre, two of Scotland’s most prolific companies working in the world of physical performance, have teamed up for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019 to perform Heroes, their new light hearted show for all the family that delves into the world of superheroes and beyond.

Heroes, featuring a stunning fusion of breathtaking aerial acrobatics, dance theatre, contemporary circus and visceral choreography, will be staged at 15.00 at Udderbelly, George Square.

In their quirky circus universe, two performers (and their miniature sidekicks) explore what it means to be a hero. The dynamic duo tackle the darker side of life in the spotlight and the pressures of being a role model with a never-ending list of enemies. Are we blinded by celebrity? Or are the ordinary people living extraordinary lives our true heroes?

Families assemble – don’t miss this clever caper told through aerial dance theatre and contemporary circus.

(C) Brian Hartley

Heroes is choreographed and directed by Tony Mills (Room 2 Manoeuvre) and Jennifer Paterson (All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre) and performed by Beverley Grant and Tony Mills.

Audience members of all ages are encouraged to dress as their favourite superhero!
