No matter how long the winter – spring is sure to follow.
A story about journeys, routine, missed moments, pain, irrational thoughts, assumptions, fear, surprising compassion, screens, memories, loneliness, coffee and unlikely friendships. It’s about how we connect with those around us even on the smallest level and the impact we have on others without knowing it.
It’s about seasons and change and how nothing ever stays the same. But mostly it’s about hope and how finding those moments of connection make the world a better place.
Avalanche is devised and performed by PACE Rep Company, an exciting new company of emerging theatre-makers/artists based in Renfrewshire. Designed to bridge the gap between youth theatre and the professional theatre industry, it is giving young people the opportunity to develop professional theatre in the supported environment of PACE Theatre Company.
Performers Poppy Lironi (24), Carla MacPherson (17), and Fraser Scott (20) have been working under the guidance of PACE’s Artistic Director, Jenni Mason, and Assistant Director, Stephanie Pollok, to devise a dynamic new piece of theatre that explores ideas surrounding mental health.
