Get Your Tickets in Advance

As soon as you know when you’re going to New York, it’s recommended that you book your Broadway tickets to ensure you get a seat at the show you want to see. If you leave it too late, you may find the show you have your heart set on is fully booked, or you may not be able to get seats with the rest of your party. Read Reviews

If you’re unsure which show to go and see, it’s always a great idea to read reviews to see what appeals most to you. You might even find that there are shows that you didn’t know about, which can sway your opinion. If there are a few that appeal to you, then why not book more than one in? When in New York, it’s best to make the most of it! Especially if you truly love the theatre.

Eat Nearby

To avoid rushing to the theatre, travelling from further afield, it is recommended that you grab a bite at a restaurant not too far away from Broadway. If you leave yourself plenty of time, you can have a leisurely meal and then stroll over to the theatre afterwards. The choices near Broadway are absolutely endless so you’ll definitely be able to find something that appeals to you. As well as this, be sure to grab yourself snacks out of the theatre if you want to save some money as they can be expensive when you’re in there. Avoid anything that is too noisy to open/eat, and don’t go for anything that’s going to be too smelly, or you may have disgruntled people sitting around you!

Grab A Memento

There are plenty of small mementoes you can get to remind you of your show, whether you simply keep your theatre ticket, buy the show program, or buy a themed souvenir. You can also get gifts for other people which will show them that you were thinking of them on your trip. Small pieces like this are great for you to keep the memories with you forever and every time you see them, you’ll be taken back to your wonderful trip to New York City.

Watching a Broadway show in New York is something that a lot of people never get the chance to do, so make sure that you take the opportunity and tick this off whilst you visit the city!
