Man dies on Highland estate



A MAN has died on an estate in Forres.

Graham Duff, 43, who resided at and was an employee at the estate was pronounced dead on Thursday afternoon.

Reports suggested he may have been killed by a falling tree.

Personnel from Grampian Fire and Rescue, Air Ambulance and Braemar Mountain Rescue Team attended the scene, where despite efforts to resuscitate Mr Duff, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Grampian Police and the Health and Safety Executive are making joint enquiries into the cause of the incident and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Mr Duff’s next of kin have been informed.
