Mystery explosion rocks tenemant



RESIDENTS of a Dundee tenament block had to be evacuated following reports of an “explosion”.

Police raced to the scene in Cullen Place at around 10pm last night.

On arrival they discovered a fire and resident were temporarily evacuated from their homes whilst Tayside Fire and Rescue extinguished it.

No one was hurt but doors and windows in the common close were damaged.

Police say they do not know what caused the explosion.

After the scene was examined residents were allowed to return to their home.
