Carer handed two year warning after saying “when the d**k is good then the woman will stay”

A CARER has been handed a two year warning after saying to his colleagues “when the d**k is good then the woman will stay”.

Emeka Eboh was also found to have grabbed and squeezed a colleague’s hip and acted in a sexually motivated manner while working as a support worker in Glasgow.

On another occasion he caused distress to one of his colleagues by saying that “pumping” was good for weight loss whilst making a masturbating gesture with his hand.

And in another bizarre outburst, Eboh claimed that white women were shocked by the size of his manhood.

Along with several other inappropriate comments, the incidents occurred on various occasions between November 2020 and February 2021.

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) today published documents showing how they decided to issue Eboh with a warning on his registration following an investigation into his behaviour.

While anonymising the names of Eboh’s peers, the SSSC findings of fact state: “Whilst employed as a support worker and during the course of your employment you did grab and squeeze your colleague ZZ’s right hip.

“On or around 30 November 2020 in the presence of your colleagues ZZ and YY say ‘when the d**k is good then the woman will stay” or words to that effect.

“On more than one occasion, on exact dates unknown between in or around November 2020 and 23 February 2021, in relation to service user AA, say to ZZ ‘AA gets a hardon and w**ks in the toilet, you would know this as the door is shut” or words to that effect.

“Tell ZZ not to ‘hug AA as he would become sexually aroused’ or words to that effect.

“On an exact date unknown between in or around November 2020 and 23 February 2021, in the presence of service user BB, say to ZZ ‘nice bum’ or words to that effect.

“On or around 18 January 2021 when discussing exercise with colleague YY say ‘pumping is good for
weight loss’ or words to that effect.

“While making the comment described…make a sexualised motion with your hands mimicking masturbation [and] by your actions…cause YY distress.

“On or around 23 February 2021 say to YY, ‘when I drink vodka it makes me hard for hours, it is like a
stimulant for me’ or words to that effect.

“After making the comment detailed above, point to your genitals [and] by your actions as detailed above at allegation cause distress to YY.

“On an exact date unknown in or around January 2021 say to YY, ‘when I am with white women, they are shocked at the size of me down there’ or words to that effect.

“By your behaviour…act in a way that was sexually motivated.”

Eboh did not attend the hearing but did provide the SSSC with an in-depth personal statement form and positive character references.

On making their decision to issue Eboh with a warning, the SSSC concluded: “You have denied the allegations against you and therefore have been unable to demonstrate any remorse, regret or apology for the behaviour.

“The behaviour took place inside the workplace and there is a pattern of concerning behaviour that occurred over several months.

“Your behaviour caused your colleagues emotional harm.

“We are therefore permitted by the rules to impose this warning on your registration.”
