Hilarious video shows farmers’ foul-mouthed argument with neighbour who dumped hedge trimmings on their land

A HILARIOUS video shows two farmers’ foul-mouthed argument with a neighbour who had dumped his hedge trimmings on their land.

Rosie Howes and her partner Scott were left fed-up with their unnamed neighbour after he dumped the trimmings from his hedge on their 200 acre farm in Diss, South Norfolk on Saturday.

Rosie, 27, had taken it upon herself to throw the trimmings from the hedge – which the neighbour allegedly planted without permission – back onto his side, which resulted in a fiery confrontation.

The video shows the couple collecting the large piles of hedge cuttings using their tractor, and throwing it back over the fence, as their neighbour can be seen approaching the fence.

An on-screen caption reads: “Clearing up the nice neighbours hedge after it was dumped on our side without permission”.

The neighbour appears to be complaining but can barely be heard over the noise of the machinery, so Scott cuts it off and Rosie approaches the fence, saying: “You dumped it here.”

The man replies: “Every year you leave it a mess, you have no right to do that.”

Scott can then be heard replying: “You have no right to dump it on this side.”

The neighbour responds and points his garden shears towards the couple saying: “You have never helped with the hedge whatsoever.”

“You what?”, Scott replies.

The neighbour repeats: “You have never helped.” to which Scott then says: “This is your hedge mate.”

“I know,” says the neighbour.

Scott then asks: “So what the f**k are you doing cutting it and dumping it on this side?”

The neighbour then says: “You don’t give a monkey’s. You never never cut that side there.”

Scott reasons: “Why should I? It’s your hedge?”

“It’s not, it’s your grass you leave all that weed,” claims the neighbour.

“I’ll leave what I f***ing” want,” Scott cheekily replies.

“You’re such a rude f***ing person.”, the neighbour retaliates.

Scott replies: “Am I really? What the f**k are you gonna do about it?”

The neighbour retorts: “What are you gonna do about it?”

Scott then blasts: “F***ing more than you, you f***ing four eyed c**t.”

The neighbour then says: “Right, well I can put it back if necessary.”

Rosie then intervenes saying: “You ain’t gonna be putting it back, we’ll keep dumping it back in here, you can ring the police.”

The neighbour then begins to storm off, shouting: “Oh p**s off, you nasty piece of work.”

Rosie replies: “No we’re not nasty pieces of work.”

The neighbour then launches a final bizarre insult, saying: “You’re a miserable stinking person,” before adding “Yes, f**k off.”

Rosie shouts back: “Yeah we’ll f**k off. “

The neighbour attempts to get the last word in, saying: “If you start dumping stuff I’ll record it too.”

The video has received more than 14,000 likes and over 1,800 comments from users who were seemingly left split over Rosie’s approach.

One user wrote: “The hedge is on his side of the fence, even if you cut it you are legally allowed to put the cuttings on his side.”

Another said: “You are completely right, however a little less language to the guy might have been better. Let the guy embarrass himself to the authorities.”

A third commented: “Just returning their property as any good neighbour would.”

Another replied: “Good fences make good neighbours, you could have just pushed it into the corner, you never know when you might need a neighbour.”

Speaking today Rosie said: “The hedge was planted without permission a long time ago, the hedge is his side of the fence.

“He trespassed onto our field without landowners permission to cut it, then he had the cheek to leave his cuttings outside of the fence which is dangerous to our sheep.”

Rosie also claimed: “He’s done this before and made a mess on our field. He also lets his septic tank leak out onto our ditch which is pretty revolting.”

“The relationship with this neighbour has always been mutual until this.

“His reaction was funny to me. He insulted us before the video and was very unpleasant hence why I decided to film – but I haven’t seen him since the incident.”
